University of Surrey

The University is only a 15-minute walk from Guildford town centre and railway station. Situated only 40 minutes by train from London with frequent rail services, and served by the M25, M3 and A3, this venue is very well placed.

Getting Guildford and the University of Surrey

Rail and bus

The bus and railway stations are located in Guildford town centre.

South West Trains, First Great Western, Southern and CrossCountry all operate services through Guildford - download the National Rail Network Operators Map for further information. You can find out more about the facilities at Guildford Station on the National Rail Enquiries website.

National Express operate regular coach services to Guildford from several cities and towns in the UK. Visit the National Express website for further details and online booking.

A number of buses run between the University and the town centre - visit the Surrey County Council website for details and a downloadable route map.

Free car parking is available in the main car park at the University providing a valid permit is displayed. Parking permits will be sent with your registration details and badge in March.

From the A3 follow the brown mortar board and cathedral signs. The University is next to the cathedral, directly off the A3 Hospital/Cathedral and University exit. The main entrance has its own exit from the roundabout.

The Welcome and Information Desk and Exhibition will be in the Austin Pearce Building (see map below). Lecture and workshop rooms are in the nearby Management School and AC Building while lunch will be served in Oak House.

Free parking is available at the University. Please ensure that you display a valid parking permit at all times.
