Each year the GA's International Special Interest Group organises an overseas Study Tour, which aims to introduce geographical educators to key aspects of the contemporary geography of the destination country.
Each course has been written by a primary or secondary geography specialist and comes complete with resources to use in your classroom. The courses cover a range of themes from outdoor learning to food security.
The Field Studies Council (FSC) is offering a series of weekend courses for teachers to develop their fieldwork and learning outside the classroom skills. The range of courses cover several geography topics at GCSE and A level and focus on delivering fieldwork within new exam board specifications.
As part of the GA and FSC strategic partnership an offer is available exclusively to GA Members to book a residential weekend for just £30.
