Global systems and global governance

Who is this course for

A level geography teachers and heads of department

Course date and location

London - Thursday 29 June 2017 (online booking closed)

Together, these topics are a challenging core theme for the new A level Geography Specifications (with first examination in 2018). The Edexcel, AQA, OCR and Eduqas courses all require students to study (i) how global systems (globalisation, trade and migration) have created interdependent relationships between places and environments (ii) how global governance is shaped by global institutions, superpowers and international law. Dr Simon Oakes will give an up-to-date geographic evaluation of the global economic and political issues all geography students need to know about.
