The GA is delighted to announce the 2025 Primary and Secondary Geography Quality Mark awardees.
The Geography Quality Mark has been driving school improvement in geography since 2006. This year 100 schools have achieved the Geography Quality Mark, including 21 PGQM Gold schools and 13 schools at SGQM Centre of Excellence level.

Dr Becky Kitchen, Head of Professional Development, said:
‘We are absolutely delighted to award Geography Quality Mark status to schools in our 2025 cohort. The quality of curriculum thinking, creative teaching and the impacts evident in the submissions was impressive, as was the ability of the quality mark framework to support school and departmental improvement. Many congratulations to all of those schools who have been awarded.’
