The GA is delighted to announce the 2026 Primary and Secondary Geography Quality Mark awardees.
The Geography Quality Mark has been driving school improvement in geography since 2006. This year over 85 schools achieved the Geography Quality Mark, including over 25 PGQM Gold schools and 6 schools at SGQM Centre of Excellence level.

Almost half of all schools achieved a Gold Award – a fantastic achievement that reflects the strength of geography being delivered as a result of schools’ commitment to embedding high-quality geographical learning across all classes.
