Many congratulations to everyone receiving their geography GCSE results today.
It’s good to see geography entries increase, even with a smaller overall GCSE cohort, and fantastic to see over 300,000 young people studying geography this year.
Over the last 15 years geography GCSE entries have increased year-on-year from just 180,000 to the record 302,000 this summer.
And whether you’re going onto study geography A level, other A levels, vocational courses, starting an apprenticeship or a job the GA hopes you’ll take your geography with you.
