Curriculum and Assessment Review: Interim Report

The Curriculum and Assessment Review’s (CAR) Interim Report was published on 18.3.25.

It considers that the present structure of key stages and national qualifications (GCSE, A levels and T levels) are broadly working well and should be retained. However, it notes the persistent attainment gaps, for disadvantaged children and young people and those with SEND, and the need to support the progression and achievement of all.
