Living Geography: So You Think You Can Be A Developer

PLEASE NOTE: Resources no longer available

These resources were developed by Tony Dodsworth (Community Plan Manager, St. Pius X Catholic High School, Wath upon Dearne) and Dean Hughes (Rotherham Development and Investment Office (RIDO)) who brought his Google Earth expertise to the project.

This is a planning exercise that will involve students in considering the different possible land uses in a new development in the Manvers area of the Dearne Valley, South Yorkshire. Using Google Earth they will produce a plan of this Waterfront area at Manvers that takes into account the location of different land uses to reduce possible conflicts to a minimum.
