Adapting this scheme for your own school

This scheme is easily adaptable to your own locality. You might like to try the housing quiz with your students using appropriate local examples. Mapping their location helps to develop students’ spatial understanding, as does asking them to annotate a map with their perceptions (misconceptions?) of an area.
