The Geographical Association is proud to introduce its new CPD Library – a growing collection of high‑quality, subject‑specific professional development units designed to invigorate and strengthen geography teaching. 

Reflecting the same principles that underpin all GA CPD, the library offers expert‑led, research‑informed learning that supports teachers in developing their practice, deepening subject knowledge and bringing fresh perspectives into the classroom.

Each unit mirrors the GA’s established approach to CPD: opportunities for structured collaboration and reflection, challenge and new thinking from experienced presenters, and practical ideas that can be used immediately in teaching. 

With two units available now and more on the way, the CPD Library provides a flexible, sustained way for teachers to engage with professional learning at their own pace, supported by the GA’s commitment to quality assurance and ongoing development.

As the library expands, it will become a central hub for geography educators seeking impactful CPD that supports both individual growth and improved outcomes for students.
