GA Professional Awardees and testimonials
Documentation for the GA Professional Awards can be submitted at any point in the year but are moderated once per term. Awards are sent to individuals following each moderation window – in November, March and June – and are also presented to attending teachers at the GA Annual Conference awards ceremony in April each year.

GA Professional Award testimonials
“Referring to frameworks and articles from the GA as well as criteria from the award has given credibility to my ideas and provided us as a department with a solid framework for change.” Faye Wilson-Cressey – GA Professional Award
“I certainly enjoyed taking the time for me and reflecting on things I’d done. I felt professionally challenged writing each response (in a good way!) and was able to reflect on my practice in a way we often don’t get time to do in school.” Emma Johns – GA Enhanced Professional Award
@GeographicaUK: Simran Jouhal – GA Enhanced Professional Award
In her blog article, Faye Wilson-Cressey highlights the process of engaging with the GA Professional Passport and Awards and the benefits that it can bring.
