Aim

The promotion of the subject of geography and the education of students and teachers via the dissemination of current and topical ideas in Geography.

Day to day activities

Hosting monthly lectures by university lecturers and practising geographers in the workplace; organising the annual GA World Wise Quiz; running an annual field excursion; liaising with local universities, schools and PGCE courses; providing CPD (including members attending the annual GA conference).
