GA Consultation response to Further Education and Skills call for evidence

We have published a consultation response to the Education Select Committee’s call for evidence regarding Further Education and Skills.

We recommended that:

• there is stronger signposting to support young people transition from GCSEs, including geography, to vocational training
• the need to strengthen green skills and sustainability in the post 16 qualifications landscape
• development of geospatial skills within FE qualifications
• and the need for a well trained, supported and retained FE workforce.
