Geography experiences increased entries of 4.2% on last year
There has been a 4.2% increase in students taking geography at GCSE compared to last year. That is the second largest increase in entries for a subject, only behind Spanish (4.7%).
Students achieving grades 7/A and above in geography have also increased from 35%, compared to 30.7% last year. This is in the context of a general 2.7% increase in students achieving grades 7/A and above across the board.
