Group memberships allow all staff at the school/institution access to Journals online, archives, Teaching Resources, discounts etc… whereas Personal memberships are for one individual user only.
Yes, if your school/institution wants to pay by invoice we need a Purchase Order number or reference from your finance office. Personal memberships can be paid by invoice too, you just need to contact us to let us know who is paying and the PO number or reference.
It’s easy to invite other staff members to access your Group membership. Log in as the school/organisation, click on ‘Associated Contacts’ and ‘Add New’ and enter their name and email address. They will then receive an email from us inviting them to create a password and granting them access.
Each Journal is published 1 per term so you will receive 3 of each journal per membership year (January, May & September).
Personal members can claim tax relief on their GA membership fees – please see the Gov.uk website for information on how to do so: Approved learned societies and professional organisations (List 3) – GOV.UK and Select all the expenses you want to claim – Check if you can claim work related expenses – GOV.UK
