Name the place

Can you identify this location?

At the top of every GA email newsletter you’ll see a photograph of a mystery location. Just for fun, we’re asking you to guess the place and, if you like, chat with other readers about it.

The picture in the last newsletter was of Acatenango, a strato volcano in Guatemala, close to the city of Antigua. It is part of the mountain range of the Sierra Madre. The volcano has two peaks, Pico Mayor (Highest Peak) and Yepocapa which is also known as Tres Hermanas (the Three Sisters).

No one guessed the location photo at the top of last weeks’ newsletter.

Have you been to last weeks’ location? Do you know any interesting facts about it? Can you work out where it is with the help of other readers? Tell us your answers in an email.

There are no prizes for a correct guess, just the satisfaction of being right! We’ll reveal the name of the place and the first person to guess correctly on this page and in the next newsletter.

Can you guess this week’s photo? Email us your guess!
