Investigating the impact of tourism in the Lake District.

Introduction

The GA have formed a working partnership with Teachit, a thriving community of over 480,000 teachers sharing resources and finding inspiration. We are delighted to provide this as part of a range of resources and activity materials for use across key stages 3-5. Each resource consists of teacher notes and activity sheets, which you can download in either Word or PDF format, as well as a PowerPoint presentation that you can use in class. The resources cover a variety of topics and themes, all of which fall within the current National Curriculum, GCSE and A level curricula.

These materials cover the impact of tourism in the Lake District, including the cultural, economic and environmental impact, and encourages students to discuss the positive and negative aspects of them.
