The Field Studies Council is an environmental education charity providing informative and enjoyable opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to discover, explore, and understand the environment.

The GA has enjoyed a strategic partnership with the Field Studies Council since 2010 and was involved in its establishment over 70 years ago.

The goals of our partnership are to:

• promote geography and fieldwork within geography, increasing the quality of implementation of geography and in particular fieldwork
• make the case for geography and fieldwork with policy makers
• develop joint or complementary approaches to providing quality educational resources and professional development to support geography fieldwork.
