GA TeachMeets

TeachMeets with the GA

The GA TeachMeet brings together colleagues from around the GA community to share ideas in an informal setting, both face to face and online.

Each participant shares a six-minute presentation, with an idea from their context that has the potential to impact on young people and invigorate the geographical community.

We have multiple opportunities to do this throughout the academic year, from our Annual Conference TeachMeet, to our online primary and secondary TeachMeets. You can find out more about all the opportunities to connect and collaborate with other teachers and educators on this page.

You can also watch back previous years’ TeachMeets on our YouTube channels for more inspiration:

GA Annual Conference TeachMeet

Each year, we bring together colleagues from around the GA community at our Annual Conference, as a chance to cap off the second day with take away ideas and lively conversation.

If you would like to propose a short talk to share your practice at the TeachMeet, please complete the form below. The deadline for ideas will be 8 March 2024.
