There are lots of different career pathways available for young geographers, our latest poster can inspire students to imagine a career in weather and climate.
Sylvia Knight, Head of Education at RMetS, said ‘producing, interpreting, communicating and making use of weather and climate information requires people with a wide range of skills, many of which are delivered by geography qualifications’.
There are currently opportunities for students to take part in work experience at the Met Office, find out more on their website here: Work Experience at the Met Office.
