Getting There

For 2024, the GA is taking the conference to the University of Manchester. You can use this page to find out more about the city and our host university, how to get here and where to stay.

Our Venue

The University of Manchester can be found along Oxford Road in Manchester, with our venue for the conference at University Place. The location is accessible by all modes of public transport, as well as from the international airport.

Getting around the city is easy, with most locations with in easy walking distance, and the added options of buses and trams. Taxi ranks are available at both Oxford Road and Piccadilly stations.

Getting here

By rail

The University of Manchester is a five-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road train station, and around twelve minutes from Manchester Piccadilly, which has direct links to locations around the country including Sheffield, Liverpool, Birmingham, London, Cardiff and Edinburgh.

By car

There are several car parks close to City Campus. Delegates can park at the multi-storey car park on Booth Street East (6.00am to 12.00am, postcode M13 9SS) or alternatively in additional parking at the multi-storey on Higher Cambridge Street (6.00am to 10.45pm, postcode M15 6AR).
